Trauma and PTSD

Trauma can be from a single event or multiple, complex events. It can happen to us directly, we can witness it happen to others, and it can be passed down to us over generations. Trauma gets stuck in our bodies and brains, keeping us trapped in the past. Healing from trauma isn’t one-size-fits-all, but recovery is absolutely possible.

My approach to trauma treatment combines integrative techniques to help you regulate your nervous system and stay grounded in the present as well as an evidence-based talk-therapy called Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
